Bilateral Relations: MOST Union Minister receives Indian Ambassador

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw received Indian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Vinay Kumar at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday.

During the meeting, they frankly discussed matters on academic affairs at the Myanmar Information Technology (MIIT), efforts for the further development of human resources in  information and technology sector, cooperation between MIIT and India Institute of Information Technology – Bangalore(IIIT-B), further collaboration in renewable energy, electronic technology and biotechnology sector, joint degree programme between the two universities, cooperation programs for research development, inviting experts and youth scientists and scholarship programs as well as formation of Joint Working Group for work implementations.
