






Magway Region Chief Minister U Tin Oo Lwin together with the officials who are led by the Township General Administration Department and Consumers Affairs Department on 14th September inspected the selling of consumer commodity in the wards of Magway Township.
Under the supervision of Magway Region Government, the General Administration Department, the Consumers Affairs Department and the City Development Committee together with Myanmar Edible oil merchants and entrepreneurs association and Rice marchents association sold one viss of palm oil with the price of 4500 kyats for one viss to the 680 households in Ywar Thit Pwal Kyo Ward, 1,180 households in Myo Haung Ward and 1,100 households in Aung Myitta Ward; totalling 2,960 households.
The Region Chief Minister and officials cordially met with the locals said that the the consumer commodities are sold to the public at low price and not to resell them to the other commodity shops and that the commodities will continue to be sold at low prices in respective wards.
It is learnt that the officials concerned will continue to carry out implementations for price stability of consumer commodities in respective wards of the region, sufficiency of edible oil for the locals and to be able to purchase at low prices.
