Development Activities: Meeting with departmental personnel

While in Kalay, Sagaing Region, member of the State Administration Council Dr. Hmu Htan and Chin State Chief Minister Dr. Vung Suan Thang, met with departmental staff who will be serving in various townships in Chin State on Thursday.

Dr. Hmu Htan mentioned that Chin State faces challenges in terms of transportation access and unfavorable weather conditions, but he assured everyone that they will find convenience once they arrive at their respective duty stations. The Chief Minister also expressed his honor in welcoming staff who are serving in Chin State, which is known for its transportation difficulties.

Arrangements are currently being made to ensure convenient transportation for the staff to reach their duty stations. Following this, Directors-General from the Agriculture Department, Cooperative Department, Basic Education Department, and Treatment Department engaged in sector-wise discussions. In response to reports from the staff assigned to Chin State, the SAC member and the Chief Minister coordinated their needs.

This was followed by a meeting with the Directors-General from the Agriculture, Cooperative, Basic Education, and Treatment Departments, as well as Deputy Directors-General and departmental personnel at the district and township levels at the Township Assembly Office. During this meeting, updates on the work undertaken by the respective departments were provided, and their needs were addressed.
