Livestock Sector: MoALI Dy Minister makes inspections in Mandalay

Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Aung Gyi made inspections in Mandalay Region.

First, in Meikhtila Township, the Deputy Minister inspected a goat and sheep farming in KyaukPhyuKone Village-tract and stressed acceleration of investment and production of livestock-based value-added products. He also inspected a site where a livestock zone will be established near Kan-U Village.

And, at the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department, the Deputy Minister met with farmers and explained assistance plans for those who want to run livestock and related businesses in the livestock zone near Kan-U Village and SunYe Lake.

There, the Deputy Minister urged concerned officials and farmers to follow the Good Animal Husbandry Practices (GAHP). He continued his inspection trip to KyarTayKan Village in Wundwin Township.

In Sintgaing Township, the Deputy Minister inspected a dairy farm and plant in OhnPinChan Village and gave necessary instructions.

In Amarapura Township, he inspected a temporary goods store, paddy seed and fertilizer production in Myitnge and stressed the importance of clealiness and fire safety. There, he also inspected a fish farming, research, breeding and distribution at NayYayKan Fish Farm.
