Aid to Evacuees: Magway Region CM provides assistance to evacuees

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin together with the ministers and departmental officials inspected the flood-affected areas and bank erosion along the Ayeyawaddy River in Chauk Township area.

In Kyauk Ye Kyune Village of Salin Township, they met with the evacuess from 85 households from the bank erosion risk potential and provided aid and exercise books for students.

At the Directorate of Water Resources and Improvement of River Systems (Magway) in Pin WaKyune Village of Yenanchaung Township, the Chief Minister heard reports on bank erosion prevention works and gave necessary instructions.

And, the Chief Minister and party provided aid to 26 households from Mainmahla Kyune Village, Man Myay village-tract and 11 dozens of exercise books to students form Pin Wa village-tract.

After hearing reports by the officials from Pin Wa, Man Myay, Kyain Kine Kyune village tracts, the Chief Minister fulfilled requirements. Also, they visited Yone Sait Kyune village, met with local farmers and provided assistance to evavuees from 36 households.
