Graduation ceremony:MPF holds graduation ceremony for Sub-Inspectors

The graduation ceremony of Myanmar Police Force Sub-Inspector Training Course No. (113/2022) Yebala Company was held at the parade ground of Pyin Oo Lwin Township Police Officer Training School in Mandalay Region on Friday morning.

Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae attended the ceremony. First, the Union Minister took the salute of the graduating cadet sub-inspectors and inspected the graduating company.

Afterwards, graduating cadet sub-inspectors marched past and saluted the Union Minister. The Union Minister then presented Outstanding Cadet, Outstanding Training, Outstanding in Law, Outstanding in English and Outstanding in Computer awards to outstanding Cadet Sub-Inspectors respectively.

In his address, the Union Minister said that the police forces work together with the people to ensure internal security and law enforcement and also carrying out effectively for the security in border areas. So, they must always be aware of security and have the mindset of cooperation and obeying orders.

In order to enhance efficiency and capabilities, every police member needs to constantly conduct necessary trainings to master in holding the weapons and police equipment. To handle new criminal cases caused by advanced technologies, terrorist groups and instability, they need to study to be fully qualified and make constant learning in other languages including English, computer, internet and technology to be more proficient.

The Union Minister then reiterated that the State Administration Council is implementing for all-round development of the state by adopting 5-Point Road Map and 9 objectives and called on police members to actively participate in the respective sectors for ensuring peace, stability and development of the state and to make efforts for the current situation of the state to be peaceful and stable in joining hand with Tatmadaw.

Director Generals of units and departments under the Ministry, deputy permanent secretary, senior police officers, officials and invited guests attended the event. 204 policemen and 143 policewomen, totaling 347 cadet officers were graduated, it is learnt.
