Myanmar / Kuwait: Deputy Prime Minister receives Ambassador

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Myanmar Mr. Mubarak M A Aladwani on Thursday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw.

During the call, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the existing friendly bilateral relations, mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas including trade and investment, energy and labour, implementation of the existing bilateral agreements and resumption of ongoing negotiations for future  cooperation agreements, and enhancement of collaboration both in the regional and multilateral arenas, particularly under the frameworks of ASEAN-the Gulf Cooperation Council and the United Nations.
