Staff Meeting: MOI Union Minister meets staff under the ministry

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn held a meeting with officers and staff from the departments under the Ministry on Thursday. The meeting commenced with the screening of a video clip on nation building endeavors and the role of state media. The Union Minister later delivered a speech, expressing his congratulations to the staff for their collective efforts in performing their respective duties.

He emphasized the need to provide mental strength to the public through the mighty power of media and strive for the emergence of a nation ensuring security, peace, and tranquility. He called for the cooperation of each and every individual staff member in implementing tasks of national interest through media.

It was followed by the discussions of Deputy Minister U Ye Tint and Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung. The meeting was attended by the officers and staff of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw while the others joined via video conferencing.
