




The Youth Week Campaign of Inter-University, Degree College and College of the Ministry of Education launched at the Nay Pyi Taw State Academy on Monday.
At the event, Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe said that in the process of the country's development, the youths equipped with high qualifications play an important role as the main force.
The Youth Week is designated from 4th to 8th September and the youth activities highlighting physical and mental strength are being organized in 50 universities and 25 education degree colleges of the Ministry.
The Union Minister added that only when the youths who are reliable persons of the nation are healthy and strong, the future nation will be perpetual. It is very important to nuture the youths to be educated ones, to improve their knowledge and skills, to be qualified, honest and have good moral.
In the Youth Week campagin, activities of improving physical and mental strength of university students will be conducted. For the physical strength, Wushu, cane ball and fitness dances, beauty peagant and physique sports competition will be conducted.
For the mental strength, youth roundtable discussion, project presentations and talent and art show, educative talks will be organized and youth meets, hostel dinner, fun fair, farewell and market festival, discussions and extempore talks will be held.
He made a wish to emerge new generation human resources equipped with physical and mental strength, who can be reliable for the state in the future. Later, students from the Nay Pyi Taw State Academy entertained individually and in group.
After the ceremony, the Union Minister cordially greeted the students and provided cash assistance.
