Humanitarian Affairs: MoSWRR Union Minister meets UNOCHA Head

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win received the delegation led by Head of United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) in Myanmar Mr. Sajjad Mohammad Sajid at the Ministry on Monday.

On the occasion, they frankly discussed coordination of Under Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Mr. Martin Griffiths during his visit to Myanmar, renewal of LoA between the Department of Disaster Management of the Ministry and the UNOCHA, entry visa issues, allowing to domestic travel, registration of international organizations, plans to cooperate between the Ministry and the UNOCHA, figures published by the State in humanitarian statistical reports and collaboration to reflect the real situations on the ground.
