Drug Seizure: Stimulant tablets seized in Loilem & Lanmadaw

A combined team of Anti-narcotic Drug Unit seized 800,000 stimulant tablets while searching a TOYOTA ALPHARD driven by Naung Min Aye together with two companions on Loilem-Taunggyi motor road near Ho Tint village in Loilem township on 26th August.

In connection with that case, more two suspects who asked to carry the stimulant tablets were arrested at the inspection gate in Kin Tha Village of Tatkone Township together with a TOYOTA KLUGER on the same day.

Likewise, the combined team searched a suspect, Ma Kyi Kyi Naing, at the corner of Strand Road and Lanmadaw (8) street in Lanmadaw township and confiscated 0.22 kilo of heroin on 28th August.

On the same day, they seized 0.59 kilo of heroin while searching a hostel at the corner of Maha Bandula Street and Anawrahta Street in Lanmadaw Township. Actions are taken against the culprits under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
