Drug Seizure: Narcotics seized in Pyin Oo Lwin & Magway

A combined team of Anti-narcotic drug unit seized 0.11 kilo of heroin and 3,937 stimulant tablets while searching a motorcycle driven by Kyaw Min near Ashay Pin Lein village in Pyin Oo Lwin Township on 26th August.

In connection with the case, more two suspects were arrested together with 0.0035 kilo of heroin near Kan Pyar village in Magway township and another 40 stimulant tablets were seized at the house of the suspect in Aung Myetta (C) ward.

The culprits are taken actions under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. Likewise, a combined team confiscated 16.15 kilos of raw opium and 4.2 kilos of opium oil solid from three suspects while searching a passenger vehicle near Myo Gyi village in Ywa Ngan township on the same day. Actions were taken against the culprits under the law.
