Helicopters overfly forest areas hit by wildfires in Bolivia

Members of the Armed Forces, Civil Defense, and risk management teams work to put out fires in Combuyo, in Cochabamba department in central Bolivia, one of the hardest hit areas.

Four of the country's nine regions have recorded forest and grassland fires.As of August 26, fires had already burned 82,768 hectares of forests and pastures in Bolivia, Defense Minister Edmundo Novillo said in an initial national report, which the government attributed to heat and arson.
