Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods worth over 640 mln Kyats seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of August, illegal goods including palm oil, soybean oil, air-conditioners, dynamo, hydrochloride tablet, solar inverter, short sleeves, palm oil, drinks, motorcycle tyres, instant rice vermicelli, Soymilk and blade wire worth over 640 million Kyats were confiscated in North Okkalapa township and at the Asia World Port Terminal container checkpoint, at the Thilawa Port and at the Myanmar Industrial Port as well as in Muse Township, in Hpa-an Township and  at the Latpanhla-Singu temporary checkpoint.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
