Efforts for Bago Region: Chief Minister makes inspections

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win attended the demonstration of monsoon paddy cultivation by low-cost rice planting machine in Pyay district on Friday.

In Myaung Zon village, the Chief Minister met with local farmers and urged them to use the systematic way from conventional way in cultivation, measures undertaken by the State Economic Promotion Fund, and to make preparations for summer paddy irrigation.

Then video clip of the use of low-cost rice planting machine was shown. Next, the Chief Minister encouraged the demonstration of the paddy cultivation by rice planting machine. He then met with local farmers and coordinated the necessary.

The Chief Minister and party then arrived at Taung Poh Kwin Smart Village where the Emerald Green Project is being implement in Pandaung Township and provided fund for goat farming.

After that, the Chief Minister and party inspected the drilling of Padaung-1 test oil well and instructed the officials to keep the workplace safety and necessaries. They also visited the wild almond tree and sesame plantings in Swetaw village tract.
