Iran's Raisi says BRICS 'symbol of change' during group's summit

Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi hailed the decision to admit his country to the BRICS group and said the cooperation is a "symbol of such a change and transformation in the international equation", during his speech at the group's annual summit in South Africa's Johannesburg.

The BRICS- Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa agreed at their annual summit to make Argentina, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates full members from January 1.
