Tour in Yunnan: MOI Union Minister visits factories in Kunming

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, together with a delegation, visited the Yunnan Baiyao Factory in Kunming on Sunday. Officials provided a guided tour to the Union Minister.

The Yunnan Baiyao Factory was established in 1971. The factory was first operated in a traditional way and later transformed into a modern industrial production system. The quality of the products was also improved, with various new products constantly being manufactured.

The Union Minister and party later proceeded to the China Tobacco Schweitzer (CTS) Factory and took a tour of the facility. The CTS Company was established in 2014 and produces health-related products in line with regulations.
