Work Undertakings in Bago Region: Clearing works, renovation, and sale of consumer goods

The clearing works were carried out to address the inundation caused by heavy rain in wards and monasteries in Bago.

On Saturday, Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win visited Kyauk Kyi Su and Mazin Wards, as well as West Shwe Natha Monastery, to inspect the clearing activities. These activities were being carried out by the Tatmadaw men, members of the Myanmar Police Force, departmental staff, and the local community.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister also assessed the condition of damaged roads and bridges, the drainage system, mosquito repellent spraying, power line installation, and the erection of concrete lamp posts.

Additionally, the Chief Minister observed the sale of essential consumer goods such as rice, oil, poultry, meat, and vegetables, all offered at reasonable prices. With the Regional Government's arrangement, these consumer goods have been made available for sale at reasonable prices to benefit the local community in 28 townships starting from June 17th.
