Regional Meeting: Myanmar Delegation departs for 17th AMMTC in Indonesia

The Myanmar delegation left for Indonesia to participate in the 17th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (17th AMMTC) and its related meetings, scheduled to take place in Labuan Bajo from the 20th to the 23rd of August.

At the invitations from the host country and ASEAN, the State Administration Council member Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, along with the delegation, departed from Yangon on Friday to attend these meetings.

The 17th AMMTC will witness the presence of ministers and high-ranking officials from 10 ASEAN member states, in addition to representatives from the ASEAN Secretariat. Furthermore, the related meetings will be conducted with the ASEAN+3 nations, comprising China, Japan, and Korea. Additionally, separate ministerial level discussions are scheduled with China, Japan, and Korea.
