7th China-South Asia Expo: 36 booths from Myanmar exhibit at the expo

7th China-South Asia Expo and the 27th China Kumming Export and Import Fair commenced on Wednesday.

Union Ministers Dr Kan Zaw, U Maung Maung Ohn and U Aung Naing Oo attended the opening ceremony, held at Kunming Dianchi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Yunnan Province.

Before the ceremony commenced, the booth of honorary country was opened with the Myanmar traditional cultural performance by the artists of Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture.

Union Minister U Aung Naing Oo extended greetings, and unveiled the booth together with the state level officials of ASEAN and South Asia countries.

This was followed by 7th China- South Asia Expo where Union Minister U Aung Naing Oo and representatives from China, ASEAN and South Asia countries made speeches.

Over 80 countries and regions joined the expo with the participation of more than 100 merchants and entrepreneurs from Myanmar, displaying the agricultural products, handicrafts and jewellery in 36 booths.
