Fans leave stadium as England beat Australia to reach Women's World Cup final

England will play Spain in the final of the Women's World Cup after defeating co-hosts Australia 3-1 on Wednesday in front of more than 75,000 people in Sydney. Ella Toone drove England’s opener into the corner of the net in the 36th minute and Lauren Hemp restored England's advantage in the 71st minute.

Alessia Russo scores her team's third goal in the 86th minute. It was the first time England had reached a major football World Cup final since the men's team beat the then West Germany 4-2 at Wembley back in 1966. They will now face fellow first-time Women's World Cup finalists Spain in Sydney on Sunday.
