Hawaii wildfires deadliest in over 100 years as death toll hits 93

The death toll from the Hawaii wildfires reached 93 on Saturday, making it the deadliest U.S. wildfire in more than a century - and the total is likely to rise in coming days as search teams continue sifting through the ruins.

The cost to rebuild Lahaina was estimated at $5.5 billion, according to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, with more than 2,200 structures damaged or destroyed and more than 850 hectares burned .Hawaii Governor Josh Green warned at a press conference on Saturday afternoon that the death toll would continue to increase as more victims were discovered.
