Development Works: Cleaning campaign and asphalt paving

In an effort to prevent pollution along the embankment of the Chindwin River and enhance the surrounding landscape, a collaborative cleaning campaign took place on Saturday.

Participants included members of the Myanmar Police Force and Fire Brigade, staff from the General Administrative Department, Development Affairs Committee, local residents, and various social organizations.

Chief Minister of Sagaing Region U Myat Kyaw and officials oversaw the works and provided foodstuff to the participants. The Chief Minister and party later proceeded to Asphalt Factory ith a daily production capacity of 35 tons.

After hearing the operation process of the factory, the Chief Minister and officials provided the needs. They then inspected asphalt paving along 2,460 ft long Padauk Road and 2,300 ft long Kokko Road in Oh Boe South Ward of Monywa.

The Chief Minister heard reports on road upgrading work and attended to the needs.
