Turkmenistan-Tajikistan-Uzbekistan cooperation

On 4 August, the presidents of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan met in Turkmenistan for their first trilateral summit. Focusing on the agenda of the Summit, several important issues were discussed. The important issues of trilateral cooperation is the expanding trade and increasing the volume of mutual trade, industrial cooperation, cooperation in the field of small and medium-sized businesses, and encouraging investment.

The summit confirmed that the parties are ready to give qualitatively new impetus to the development of traditional intergovernmental relations and to further enhance and expand effective cooperation in all areas in the future, and to use the enormous potential more efficiently for this.The heads of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan issued a joint statement at the end of their summit talks.
