A flying car approved for test flights in the U.S.

Flying cars may no longer be limited to science-fiction movies, following an approval by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration given to a California-based company to carry out flight tests of its own flying car known as Model A.  The "Model A" is 100% electric, drivable on public roads and has vertical takeoff and landing capabilities, the company wrote in its release.

The CEO of the firm, Alef Aeronautics says his company is already preparing for a public demonstration once the official certifications are ready. The flying car will reach the market by late 2025 with the price tag of 300,000 dollars. Alef Aeronautics has received 2,500 pre-orders for its electric flying car.
