Exporting agricultural produces:Kachin State CM holds meeting with officials

The agricultural products such as tissue bananas, chilli, corns and beans and pulses produced from Kachin State are being exported to foreign markets through Kampaiti border trade camp, Myanmar-China border.

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan and officials held meeting with officials of the State Crop Growers and Producers Association at the State Government Office on Thursday to discuss exporting the crops on time.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the timely exporting of the State’s agricultural produces through Kampaiti border trade camp is an important task and called for following existing law, bylaw and directives in exporting the crops.

After that, officials of Kachin State Custom Department and the Department of Trade reported on orders, directives and formation in the newsletter regarding border tradings.

Officials of the State Crop Growers and Producers Association and related organizations reported matters to relax orders and directives of the Custom Department and information in the export/import goods newsletters of the Department of Trade and difficulties that are faced in exporting and importing on which the State Economic Affairs Ministers supplemented on the reports and the Chief Minister coordinated essentials.

In the afternoon, the Chief Minister also attended a meeting lunch together with the State cabinet members and officers and staffs of the State Administrative Department at the hall of the State Government Office.
