Exports Sector: Garment and industrial finished goods to aboard

During the 2023-2024 fiscal year, more than 2,394 million US dollars worth of industrial finished goods and over 1,085 million US dollars of garments products have been exported to foreign countries via sea trade and border stations, according to an official from the Ministry of Commerce.

There are also divided into government and private exports sectors for the industrial finished goods, and over 910 million US dollars worth of finished goods were sent by the government sector and more than 1,484 million US dollars worth of industrial finished goods were exported by private sector.

Myanmar mainly exports products such as garments, sugar, natural gas and other industrial finished goods to the foreign markets. By exporting the goods to the other countries, Myanmar earns the foreign currency, benefit to growth the country’s GDP and job opportunities for the local people.
