Monsoon Tree Planting Ceremony: Over 8,200 saplings planted in Nay Pyi Taw

The 2023 monsoon tree planting ceremony took place in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday. Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Tin Oo Lwin participated in the event, which was held at No.7 Basic Education High School in Dana Theikdi Ward, and planted a star flower sapling.

Similarly, monsoon tree planting ceremonies were held at 33 wards and 102 village tracts in 8 townships of Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory simultaneously. Nay Pyi Taw Council members and officials joined the local communities to plant saplings at the designated locations. A total of over 8,200 saplings, including star flower, teak, and various hardwoods, were planted throughout these ceremonies.
