Monsoon Tree Planting Ceremony :Yangon Chief Minister joins the activity in Hlawga

Yangon Region Government organized a monsoon tree planting ceremony at the Hlawga Catchment Area in Mingaladon Township on Friday.

Chief Minister U Soe Thein and officials presented the saplings to the representatives from the concerned departments. The Chief Minister and party later planted teak saplings and also observed the planting of saplings by the officials and staff.

This is the third tree planting ceremony organized by the regional government, and a total of 99,500 saplings have been planted at the Hlawga Catchment area, including today’s activity.
