Confiscation of illegal items: Consumer goods, industrial materials and vehicles

12 kinds of goods including 12,091 kilogrammes of PVC reflective stickers, 945 sets of printer spare part OPC drum and 50 Dell Core i5 laptops from a Nissan diesel tractor head, a Mitsubishi Fuso tractor head and two trailers heading to Mandalay from Muse at 23/6 Milepost on Mandalay-Lashio Road on 13 July, nine kinds of goods including 23 sets of CCTV cameras on the vehicles entering from China by the side of the road over the Sinphyu checkpoint in Muse Township on 14 July, 10 Sidel halogen lamps from luggage at the Yangon International Airport (Import Desk), four kinds of goods including 49 cartons of Smart fabric softener on a Mitsubishi Canter truck at the Nyaungkhashay X-Ray Station on 15 July were seized.

As a result, a total of nine arrests were made on three consecutive days from 13 to 15 July, with an estimated value of 383.635 Kyats, as reported by the Illegal Trade Eradication Steering Committee.
