Beans and pulses market: Price soared up to 150,000 kyats per bag in Mandalay

In Mandalay Market, the price of bean and pulses stood at good price and the owl peas soared up from 120,000 kyats to 150,000 kyats per bag due to the increase of domestic consumption and high demand from China.

Myanmar beans and pulses including owl peas are mainly cultivated as winter crops in Pakokku, Myingyan, Mrauk-U, Kyaukse, Patheingyi, Madaya, Singu and Sinphyukyun Townships.
