Monsoon Tree Planting Ceremonies: Over 1,200 saplings planted in 8 townships of Nay Pyi Taw

The 2023 Monsoon tree planting ceremonies for environmental preservation was held at 8 townships in the Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory on Saturday.

Members of Nay Pyi Taw Council and officials planted saplings at the designated places together with the local community. Over 1,200 saplings were planted during the ceremonies.

The Nay Pyi Taw Council members and officials also met with the farmers in respective townships and explained the work undertakings being carried out with the use of State Economic Promotion Fund.

The Department of Agriculture also provided educative pamphlets on agricultural methods to the farmers.
