Efforts for Sittwe: Coordination meeting on reckless garbage throwing

Brigadier General Aung Kyaw Moe, who is currently in Sittwe Township of Rakhine State for the rehabilitation works, attended a work coordination meeting on garbage throwing system for cleaning environ.

The meeting took place at the meeting hall of Rakhine State Development Committee Office. In his address, Director of the State Development Committee U Kyaw Moe called on entrepreneurs to throw out garbage systematically into dustbins.

The City Development Committee will also collect garbage at industries and there will be service charges. There will be fines for reckless garbage throwing. And, the Executive Officer of the Sittwe Township Development Committee clarified the ongoing beautify work processes in Sittwe.

The meeting continued with discussions on garbage throwing by industries, workshops, construction sites, hospitals and clinics. The meeting decided to conduct educative talks and take actions against reckless garbage throwing.
