Visit to Russia: Meeting with DPM & Minister for Industry & Trade

A delegation led by Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than viewed around the products and machines displayed at the INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition in Yekaterinburg of Russia Federation on Tuesday and asked what they wanted to know.

Then, Union Minister and delegates met with a Russian delegation led by Mr Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Industry and Trade of Russia and delegates.

During the meeting, they frankly discussed current situation of Russia-Myanmar Cooperation, especially in production of steel, pharmaceutical, textile, cement, and medical equipment, opportunities for development of MSME businesses and prospects from cooperation of people of the two countries.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister for Industry and Trade Alexey V. Gruzdev and concerned officials as well as Myanmar delegates.
