76th Anniversary Martyrs’ Day: Preparations at the Martyrs’ Mausoleum

For the 76th Anniversary Martyrs’ Day Ceremony 2023 which falls on 19th July, preparation measures are being undertaken at the Martyrs’ Mausoleum in Yangon by dividing into three parts and currently, it has completed 95 percent, according to head of Engineering Department (Building) of Yangon City Development Committee (YCDC).

Tin Maung Kyi, Head, Engineering Department (Building) said "For the preparations at Martyrs’ Mausoleum, we are undertaking measures by dividing into three parts; preparations on the dais and inside and outside Mausoleum. The preparations will be made on the dais of mausoleum until the final rehearsal and celebration days. The tasks that have to be arranged in advance have been completed cent per cent. We will arrange accepting wreaths in a timely manner and likewise, we will coordinate with relevant sub-committees for the needs."

Preparation measures at the Martyrs’ Mausoleum have started on 20th May. Currently, the tasks have completed 95 percent and it is targeted to complete all measures on 15th July.
