Tourism Sector :Mon State Committee holds meeting 5/2023

Chairman of the Mon State Tourism Committee Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein addressed the committee meeting 5/2023 on Wednesday.

In this meeting at the state government office, the Chief Minister said that new licenses have been issued for hotels, motels and guest houses in the state. The Mon State Hotels and Tourism Directorate is filming the tourist destinations in the state.

A workshop was held to find out the needs to attract more tourists, and the results will be implemented, the Chief Minister added. And, Secretary of the Committee reported on license issues.

The meeting concluded after making general discussions on tourism sector development in Mon State.
