Inspection tour in Sittwe: MoE Union Minister inspects universities in Sittwe

Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe together with deputy minister Dr. Moe Zaw Tun and officials inspected the Sittwe university on Monday evening and inspected renovation of teaching halls and hostels damaged by the cyclone Mocha and gave instructions to complete the construction works as quick as possible.

The Union Minister then went to Department of Law at the University  and held a meeting with teachers and students. In the meeting, the Union Minister called on the students to pursuit education to be educated and to achieve goals. He also urged the teachers to work togehter to be smooth learning for the students and to have full learning opportunities for them.

He then viewed around teaching rooms and fulfilled the needs. Likewise, the Union Minister visited the University for Computer Studies and Technological University and met pro-rectors, heads of departments and faculty members and discussed completed renovation of school buildings and teaching halls damaged by the cyclone, current learning of the students and coordinated the needs.

The Union Minister also visited the No. 9 Basic Education Middle School and looked into construction of temporary teaching hall and fulfilled the needs.
