







The Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe attended the monsoon season tree planting and fish seeds adding ceremony of the Ministry held at Thaw Hmaw Kone medal village in Lewe Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development and the district and Township level offices of the departments of the Ministry situated in the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area in the morning on 9th July.
First, the Union Minister explained the benefits gained by planting trees which are depended by the 90% of living beings including human beings, contributions of the trees required by the living beings including foods, utensils and various forest products, absorbing CO2 and balancing the climate change, protection from the national disasters and the simple, easy, cost-effective and eco-friendly the best solution for the climate change and environmental problems is the plantation of the trees etc.
Next, the Union Minister U Hla Moe, Deputy Minister U Myint Soe, permanent secretary and director generals planted Gantgaw saplings and the staff members and village residents collectively grew the saplings of shady and fast growth trees including Sein Pan or Flamboyant Flower, Mezali or Cassia siamea, Star flower, the golden shower, Pyi Lone Chantha etc.
Then, the Union Minister and party viewed the pig farms implemented by Thaw Hmaw Kone livestock breeding and General businesses cooperatives limited and Pan Khayay group which is running with Responsible Business Fund (RBF) and coordinated requirements.
Afterward, the monsoon season tree planting ceremony was held at the Ministry, Department of
Rural Road Development and the district and Township level offices of the departments of the Ministry situated in the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area and the Union Minister, Deputy Minister, permanent secretary, director generals and staff members planted the trees collectively.
Then, the Union Minister and Deputy Minister, permanent secretary, director generals and officials added the Rohu, Thai Silver Barb and Carp fingerlings into the sluice dams and gully dams.
