Tree planting ceremony: UEC Chairman and members joined tree planting

The 2023 monsoon season tree planting ceremony of the Union Election Commission was held at area on the left of road heading to the office of UEC and the residence of UEC Chairman at 2 PM on Thursday with the attendance of UEC Chairman U Thein Soe and commission members, permanent secretary, Deputy director generals, officers and staffs.

First, the UEC Chairman and commission members planted teakwood saplings at the designated places and the permanent secretary, Deputy director generals, officers and staffs grew the teakwood and Yamane or (Gamhar) tree.

Then, the UEC Chairman and commission members viewed the tree planting by the officers and staff members. During the this year’s tree planting ceremony, 230 teakwood saplings and 200 Yamane or (Gamhar) saplings.
