Development tasks in Kachin : Meeting on providing investment capital

Kaching State Chief Minister made a coordination meeting with the state level village project supervisory committee members on 5th July for local food sufficiency and providing investment capital by extending the tasks in the respective sectors to boost productivities with the first 6-month interest payments from the agricultural and manufacturing industries that are provided capitals by the State Economic Promotion Fund in Kachin State. 

At the meeting, Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan said that efforts were able to make contiguously in order to enhance the State’s economy, 8 billion kyats was provided for respective sectors starting from 2022 Decemeber.

The Committee collected the first 6-month interest payments from the relevant sectors and he urged to provide again those interest payments for accelerating promotion of the State’s economy.

Later, State Economic Affairs Minister U Myo Swe, Chairman of the State Level Village Project Surpervisory Committee reported collecting the interest for 6 months and handling the issues of unpaid loans in line with the financial rules and regulations and the committee members discussed about operating of funds regularly.

Afterwards, the State Chief Minister coordinated the matters to establish the 7 mile village on Bamo-Mansi road as pig breeding model village and to extend fish breeding tasks in Machanbaw townshiop of Putao district through 6 months interest payments and instructed the needs for the implementation of one village one product.

Likewise, the State Chief Minister together with the State Minister for Natural Resources U Taint Saung took part in the cleaning and beautifying tasks of officers and staff of the township development committee, volunteer groups for the development of Myitkyina and emerge the good social environment.
