Inspection of construction works :Union Minister inspected road and bridge constructions

The Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant together with the officials inspected construction works of Hsin Thay Chaung Bridge (Kyauk Chet) extending as four lanes new bridge at milepost (223/1) on Yangon-Mandalay Union Highway and the tree planting at the both sides of the highway in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area on 3rd of July.

First, the Union Minister and party arrived at the work site of new extended constructing iron-reinforced concrete four lanes  Hsin Thay Chaung Bridge (Kyauk Chet) from old one lane  with iron beam and the engineer in-charge clarified the drawing of bridge design, completion of preparations for the construction of bridge, ongoing tasks and works to be done and the plans of traffic lanes at the junction of Bawgathiri bus terminal and the bridge and the director General supplemented necessary matters.  

In responding to the clarifications, the Union Minister gave the guidance regarding with the bridge construction.

Then, the Union Minister and party inspected completion of bored pile works, undertaking pile cap, shaft and cross beam at PR1 and PR2 and Abutment works of A1 and A2 in detail.

Next, the Union Minister also inspected the planting the trees on the extended road shoulder from four lanes level to the six lanes level, status of trees growing, substituted planted trees in the place of ruin trees, more planted trees at the both sides of the road and gave necessary instructions.
