Myanmar Women’s Day : 2023 Myanmar Women’s Day celebrated at MICC-2

The 2023 Myanmar Women’s Day was celebrated at Myanmar Convention Center-2 (MICC-2), Nay Pyi Taw at 10 AM on July 3rd and was attended by the honorary patron of Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and members of patron committee, SAC member Daw Dwe Bu, wife of SAC Joint-Secretary, wives of SAC members, Chairperson of Myanmar National Committee for Women's Affairs (MNCWA) Union Minister Dr. Thet Thet Khine, wives of Union ministers, members of MNCWA and invited guests.

First, the video message of the opening speech delivered by the Chairman of the State Administration Council Senior General Min Aung Hlaing was screened.

Next, the Chair of the MNCWA Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Thet Thet Khaing reported on advancement of women, enhancement of women’s rights and prevention of violence against women in all forms and a video clip on the implementations for the development of women was presented.

Then, the honorary patron of Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, patron committee members and SAC member Daw Dwe Bu presented awards to the outstanding women in the related sectors and the outstanding girl in education and posed for the documentary photo.

Afterward, the attendees observed the displays in the exhibition hall.
