Health Care Services: MOHA opened clinic to provide treatment to the families

The Ministry of Home Affairs opened a clinic for providing health care services to the staff and family members of the Units/departments under the Ministry.

The opening ceremony was held at the Myanmar Police Force headquarters in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday, in conjunction with the cash and medical equipments donation ceremony. At the ceremony, SAC member Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut said due to the opening of the clinic, patients can receive treatment early and if necessary, they could be transferred to the respective hospitals and received treatments in a timely manner.

Six doctors and 4 nurses will be assigned at the clinic to conduct the medical treatment. Moreover, furniture, medical equipments and medicines have been provided, and the gynecologist and midwives are also assigned to give health care services for pregnant women. He added that this is the first step to open the Police Hospital and  urged all to make further efforts for opening of the Police Hospital.

Then the well-wishers made cash donations and medical equipment for the clinic and Police Maj-Gen Win Tun of Myanmar Police Force clarified the preparation for opening of the Clinic. Next, the Deputy Prime Minister and officials opened the clinic and viewed around it.
