Edible Oil Distribution: Discussion on price stability

Chairman of the Committee for Stability of Commodity Price, Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo, met with the Chairman and members of the Myanmar Edible Oil Dealers' Association, as well as edible oil import and distribution companies in Yangon on Saturday.

They discussed various matters concerning the import, storage, and distribution processes of edible oil, with the aim of establishing systematic procedures and plans to ensure market price stability.

The Union Minister also provided an explanation of the guidance made by the Prime Minister during the State Economic Promotion Meeting. Subsequently, the attendees engaged in a general round of discussions regarding the importation of edible oil to meet market demand, as well as its distribution in the market.
