Trade and Investment: MIFER Union Minister meets Russian delegation

Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr. Kan Zaw received a delegation led by Vice President of Russia-Myanmar Association for Friendship and Cooperation, Mr. Solonetsky Vitaly at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on matters of payment facilitation for investment and trade between the two countries, boosting investment and further cooperation with private companies in information and technology, conducting business matching events, the export of food and beverage products to Russia which support the development of small and medium enterprises in Myanmar, market penetration and spreading information about Myanmar investment and companies law and procedures to Russia investors.

The Deputy Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, high-ranked and concerned officials also attended the meeting.
