Clean and Green Environ: Collective Cleaning Campaing in Magwe Region

Magwe Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin together with regional ministers and concerned officials from Magwe Station inspected the weekly collective cleaning up activities which is being carried out with the aim for beautifying and cleaning eviron in the compound of No. 1 Basic Education High School (Magwe) on Saturday.

Under the guidance of Magwe Region Government office, collective cleaning tasks such as  cutting-off grasses and bushes, cleaning tasks in school playground and systematic garbage clearance are being carried out with the cooperation of Tatmadawmen from Magwe Station, staff from the General Administration Department, members of Myanmar Police Force, Fire Brigade members, Magwe City Development Committee, departmental officials, teacher trainees from Magwe Education Degree College, ward administrators and volunteer organizations. 

During the inspection, the Chief Minister said as Magwe township is the capital of Magwe Region, it is important for the city to be clean and beautiful in accordance with the characteristics of the city. He reiterated that it is very important for students and teachers to have clean and green environ and better school buildings, to keep exercise equipments  and clean playground for peaceful learning.

This weekly collective cleaning work was carried out by a total of 200 staff and Myanmar traditional snacks and drinking water were served for those who are making efforts in cleaning up tasks.

Also, under the guidance of the Magwe Region Government, weekly collective cleaning work is being carried out in the pagoda compound, office buildings and school environs in respective townships.
