33rd Day Charity Feast Donation: Donation of vegetable biryani, rice & canned fish curry

The charity feast donation of vegetable biryani, rice and canned fish curry also took place on the 1st of July in Rakhine State as the 33rd day.

In Sittwe Township area, in the morning of the 1st of July, 500 boxes of vegetable biryani and 6,000 boxes of rice and canned fish curry donation was made in places including the Fire Services Department, Sittwe Station, Forest Department, Myanma Posts and Telecommunications Office, monasteries, governmental offices, schools, Nursing Training School, NaTaLa Orphanage, OhnTaw Village and KanKawKyun Village as well as for volunteering groups who are making efforts for rehabilitation works in the extremely severe cyclonic storm-affected areas.

In the evening, 6,500 boxes of of rice and canned fish curry donation was made in 7 villages including TharYarKone, MgNiPyin, TinPoneTan and AungChanTha Village as well as in PyiTawTa Ward. It’s reported that till the 1st of July, over 417,000 food boxes were donated in Rakhine State.

The SKY NET for People, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association (Rakhine State), Myanmar-China Buddhism and Cultural Exchange Association, Myanmar-India-China International Cooperation & Economic Development Association, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Public Co., Ltd and Inter-Faith Friendship Organization are jointly carrying out the daily donation of charity feast in Rakhine State.

The donation is set to take place till the 13th of July, it’s learnt.
