Tourism Development: MOHT Union Minister receives Russian delegation

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Aung Thaw received Vice President of Russia-Myanmar Association for Friendship and Cooperation Mr. Solonetsky Vitaly and party as well as officials from Aquarius Technologies Incorporation and Russia based CMR Bank and Food Line Trading Company on Friday.

The meeting focused on various matters related to the development of the tourism industry in Myanmar, bilateral cooperation, and the implementation of a familiarization trip involving Russian tour agencies, media representatives, and tour operators. Additionally, they exchanged views on cooperation in information technology, trading, currency exchange, payment, and the banking sector.
