Uruguay's main drinkable water supply hit by unprecedented drought

The reservoir behind Uruguay's Paso Severino dam, which normally serves 60 percent of the country's population with fresh water, has touched a historic low due to an unprecedented three-year drought.

Only 2.4 percent of its total water capacity remained. And as the reservoir dries up, relics from the past like an old bridge have emerged from the waters, attracting curious locals.
