Energy Sector: MOE Union Minister meets Russian delegation

Union Minister for Energy U Myo Myint Oo received a delegation led by Mr. Anatoly Bulochnikov, Vice-President of the Russia-Myanmar Association for Friendship and Cooperation at the Ministry on Wednesday.

During the meeting, they frankly discussed the cooperation for development of energy sector between Myanmar and Russia, and opportunities of investment for Russia in exploring oil and gas in Myanmar and distributing the petroleum products. The meetig was also attended by Deputy Minister for Energy U Thant Sin, Permanent Secretary, senior officials and representatives from Russia-Myanmar Association for Friendship and Cooperation.
